It is not hard at all really... Take out all the root DNS servers and 99.9% of the people wouldn't be able to use the internet.

IMHO (if everything we have heard and read about the NWO is true) thrre is a real possibility that the internet will not be shut down altogher but rather made available primarily to citizens ranking high on social credit scores (think of the social credit score system being used in China for several years now).

It does not look very nice either way.

And yes, I do applaud initiatives like keeping alive (or reviving, as the case may be) older and maybe defunct technologies allowing people to be less dependend on and taken hostage by global government.

I think there is a small number of critical servers which, if controlled by a government or other entity, might effective get the whole internet be tightly controlled, maybe shut off in parts or completely.

All major ISP's are deep state corporations, they are the gateways to the internet, without them, your fucked, even if you circumvent name resolution via DNS. Your cable modem will blink red, you will have no bars on your phone, all this, when a dozen ISP's decide to shut down for some Agenda 21 plan to save us from ourselves.

All they have to do is have the providers cut service which they will readily do when told before they are called racist in several highly publicized smears generated by our mentally ill "leaders". It's amazingly scary what they can do now that they entirely control the media.

Could MESH Wifi networks be part of a solution?

Curiously, there was a MESH Linux distro of which I found a Live CD on the net more than a decade ago which is not maintained anymore, which is strange. I don't remember what is was called now, but it was based on the Porteus distro (something like Byzantium?).

Internet/ "social" media are one of their most important tools to manage and herd people inside their revolting system.

Must be something major if they switch it off, such as overt mass culling finally happening.

DNS is just translation. People could still enter the IP addresses in the URL.

There was no Internet twenty years ago, people went along fine without it, after a period of adjustment, they will get along fine as well.

The main problem with the Internet, is that they can't use their weapon of wavelengths so to control the mind to the extend that they can through the media from digital tv.

Practically when the moment is convenient for them, they will shut down the main Internet so people to resort into the digital broadcast for finding out what happened. Even the radio will have problems. Then with the Internet off, and the power saved by that, they will just push the button to transmit the information to all that are watching and program them.

so here there it is, you know now what will happen.

Not yet, now they are only creating panic and a sense of no hope, so to lower the ability of people to act in a calm state and thus to have them constantly under pressure from what they broadcast daily.

It is only a way to reduce the ability of one self to analyze in balance a situation through because of the vast amount of data that they are sending through constantly.

Since now all have everything, and still no one does anything as a team, why the need for any communication that can expand in greater length than the one close to us?

You could use snail mail (USPS), ups, fed express, bike courier or even grub hub to relay messages!! You have to be creative to work around oppressive governments...
