I used a bone in tomahawk ribeye for this video but this technique will work on any thick cut steak. Quoting: Tim the Enchanter THIS BUT COOK IN AVACADO OIL..UH! muckuh |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 80015249 United States 04/07/2021 01:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our tooth structure and jaw shape. But, we're not eating raw meat that requires ripping meat away from the bone, which is why animals in the wild have different jaw structure. Civilized people cook the meat, salt & pepper to taste, a little sprinkle of other herbs, and we slice the meat according to the size of our mouth and the amount of chews we prefer. Yes? On occasion I dine at a vegetarian restaurant. Why do they have a vegetarian hamburger listed on the menu? Is this to fool the brain and it's salivary glands that want a REAL MEAT hamburger? . |

I do it all the time, it has a neutral (as in none) flavor and can stand the initial high heat without creating a burnt taste. The further cooking with butter is completed at lower temps, a perfect combo. Grapeseed oil is another good one for the initial sear. MANGIA! |

All mammalian carnivores have canines. Because we all "evolved" from the same progenitors. The oldest recorded history on the planet, all over the planet, documents mankind's hunter-gatherer diet that includes the consumption of "red" meat. And then there is the anthropological/ archeological record of gnawed bones, etc. Corn Pop has been smoking something and is blowing his smoke up your tookus. SloGenPhys |
