Horse owner was kicked in the head at least twice and had to have her head stapled shut and she also broke her foot and will require surgery.

The horse's face was torn up and his lips shredded. The dog first lunged and hung on to the horse's throat. Of course, owner must have forgotten to train the dog not to go for the throat.

The owner was trying to stop the dog by slapping it with a spatula, or something that looked like one. Once over, I didn't see either owner going to any of the victims, only the dog.
