I had my son put me in this position and lift my arms behind me. It did nothing to impair my breathing. This is total bullshit. And my son is 23, 240 LBS and 6'2". C'mon man....

The jury has to be seeing thru this redundant medical jargon when in fact even the slowest among them must know opiates restrict ones breathing...

The problem is that the dr. would sound compelling to a "simple" jury, if you know what I mean.

Yeah. This theoretical stuff is all BS. And this doctor is just wrong about many of his assertions.



They have to be bored. And maybe wondering if based on this guy’s testimony cops would never be allowed to do most of the things they have to do to subdue a violent criminal.

This guy didn't examine floyd so he has no idea if his hypopharynx was narrowed. Hes stating this as fact and not opinion Can't believe defense isn't objecting to any of this testimony. He's getting all his opinions from still shots of video. Hmmm

Indeed! Very frustrating watching this guy when he has completely ignored the opiate aspect. But you're right a "simple" jury can be easily swayed.

Claiming that half of Chauvin's body weight is on GF's neck is total bullshit. Chauvin could have shifted most of his weight to the other side.

Tobin is a real hoot.

Maybe. But some groups of people don’t like “smart” people. And even in my family, which has high levels of education, there isn’t much respect for professor types. We know they just make things up. Anyone who surveys a list of college classes knows how many ridiculous subjects they teach.

I can't wait to see the cross examination. This will be just another victim for the defense.

Exactly. The angle of his knees and torso, the relationship of which knee is in front of the other, and where his torso is in relation to his knees makes all the difference. And, these camera angles all are biased. You need a top down angle to know some of these angles. This egghead doesn’t know anything.

I’d add it looks to me that his right knee is behind the left, which means more weight would be on the right knee. And that knee could be on the ground or his arm. I could be wrong because it is hard to tell, but that is what I see.

Don't quote me on this, but I think Nelson can only cross examine him on what he testified on. Drugs were not brought up so far in his testimony, so that door may be closed.

I have no idea if that's right, but he's there as a medical expert. Surely, the autopsy results are relevant to his testimony and area of expertise.

This guy is also most likely an IRA sympathizer and wanted by the UK. At least they are giving Nelson tons of time to prepare for his destruction. I hope he pisses the old man off so bad he gags.

Im not sure if its correct either.

And the Autopsy did show Drugs and he must have read the Toxicology report.
