These are the people who LOVED the policies and lifestyle of California until the last straw that broke the camel's back for them. But they are bringing with them their expectations that 99% of that pile of straw that they were cool with will be the same for them in Idaho and they will change the laws to accommodate what they are used to very rapidly.

Idaho City is in the mountains, not a swamp. The locals up there are very red though. If OP really was last seen up there trying to stir the pot, he may never be seen again.
