Food don't grow in many parts of the earth very well and lack of fresh water in many other areas, the Sahara Desert is the size of America and very little area there can even grow food, Siberia cant grow very much food and it to is as large as America.

Winter time is also a problem for growing food in many areas, short growing season and than sometimes mother nature makes that even hard in the summer.

Just look at China and all those fishing ships going all around the world fishing other countries waters and sucking up the fish billions a day.

Than all the oil that is used to grow and transport food and store the food.

Than all the oil needed to power all these homes and cars and semis and tractors and factories and offices and Disney lands and hotels and casinos and ships and jumbo jets and so on and so on..

So if you think 8 billion is not a problem than when is it to many, 10 billion, 20 billion, 50 billion, 999 billion..

When does the madness stop, where will nature fit in..

Freaking to many people everywhere, cities twice or three times the size in just the past 40 years.

3rd world countries way over populated and polluted rivers and lakes from factories to make our junk here in America..

I know what you mean......these types look out their window, see a couple neighbors, then project that scene around the planet. Even in China, I saw very few people in the countryside. Lots and lots around the cities. Anyone can do the math to see that you can fit every person on the planet in the state of Florida in a 20 foot space. Thats a lot of people, but this planet is massive.

It is the problem. A problem which has arisen simply because we have employed artifice to unnaturally produce enough of everything to sustain such an immense population.
And the price we will pay for such will be in line with nature; we can only cheat for so long.
There is joy to be had when one lives in a self sustaining community. That joy disappears when we are forced to live in an unnatural and impersonal environment where machines are necessary to ensure our survival.
What made this population possible, is oil.
