A local perspective, in my county we have 83,000 people. In all this time only 28 people have died from covid. Mostly in LTCF's and all had serious co-morbidities. That about 1/4 of 1%. On the other hand, there has been an increase in suicides, OD, booze related carwrecks, and the usual and mostly affecting our young people. Not to mention domestic violence and depression with other mental health issues is up too. We've sacrificed the well-being our kids all for a disease that hasn't killed any more than the flu usually does. The death rate for 2020 is about the same as 2019. I had the covid along with many others here and it was milder than the flu or the common cold. I'm sick all the fear porn and watching people with masks walking their dogs alone in the sunshine. Masked people driving alone in their cars. While your thinking about all old geezers (like me) that have died from covid, think about all the young folks that have died from OD's and suicides. In the long run I bet we see more deaths from the lockdowns than lives saved from them.
