My family and I were in Mexico earlier this year and had planned on staying all winter. Canada introduced the testing requirements so we cut our stay and landed in Toronto at 11:49 pm the day before the tests were required. I knew we’d be in for more lock downs this winter but my fear of testing positive in Mexico was enough of a reason to head home. I feel for you, travel can do wonders for your mental health and for some of us makes it worth the risks. Don’t be too hard on your self, my best friend is currently lock down at home bc two kids at her sons school tested positive and now there’s an “outbreak” so 400 families are on a two week quarantine. And she’s followed all “rules”.
