The OP is an aperture issue filming an aircraft.

My problem is I am always thinking while I am watching something. So it is hard to remember quickly, what I saw vs what I thought.

Here I saw a device with an large excess of rotors and a touted indifference to orientation, which I then thought could be reduced to a 3D pyramid to reduce some of the extra rotors, while maintaining an ability to dart off in any direction without reorienting the vehicle frame.

That extra agility would be most useful in a military drone application.

Sorry, I wish I was stupider and did not think about things while watching them, facilitating a simple regurgitation of what I saw several months ago. :)
