i have always believed that Whites and blacks do not belong in the same country

Yes, I think they should let them go and send a ticket. It's better than having a shoot out which is what happens so often. I think it's better to have the LEAST AMOUNT OF INTERACTION BETWEEN COPS & CIVILIANS - for both sides.

A routine stop is already a tense situation. The driver is stressed and scared regardless. Even if they take responsibility which takes a mature person. I have seen young people act stressed or start crying or get angry just from the shear stress of a stop.

Imagine someone with an arrest warrant.
A routine stop is already a confrontational situation with a huge power differential and the power is on the Cop's seat. This situation can take wrong turn at any point.
I wouldn't chance it anymore in today's racial intense climate.

Can't cops take a picture of the infraction and tag and mail in the ticket?

If they knew about the arrest warrant, I suspect this would have been done differently.

Also, why shoot someone who runs. I rather let them run and call for back up.
