I've never been too attached ideologies or what they represent. But I've been appreciating the comedy from the past and laughing at the circus shit of today. Watching tards jockey for positions to the ever-dropping bottom is both sad and entertaining. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

I was filing a Credit card dispute over a scam purchase on my CC. Usually the CC company does a 3 way call to the business to try and settle it first. The credit card company said that due to the coronavirus, they are no longer doing three way calls at this time. Really? |

I work in the fitness industry and I have been extremely lucky to have access to the gym throughout lockdown, for some people it's how they get by. Sad to see the effect it has had on others and how crippling it has been to small businesses. Lots of people have lost jobs and businesses. Lots have lost their sanity, there have been a few suicides, heart attacks but I don't know anyone that has become seriously ill from Covid. Not even bed ridden for a few days. |

I haven't been able to see her in 18 months because we are not married and can't travel to meet each other. We tried to travel to Turkey, the Caribbean, or another location which allowed international travel but it didn't work out logistically. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77506045 Neither of us has plans to take the experimental gene therapy injection. Other than that little has changed. I am a recluse and avoid humans. I live near my parents and help to take care of them and that is enough human interaction for me. marry her over zoom, have the legal documents sent to each of you and sign. tell the government to go fuck themselves |

It has, however, opened my eyes to the absolute stupidity and ignorance of the masses. I have often wondered how the vast majority of German people could have followed along so easily. Now I understand. Makes me want to withdraw from humanity even more. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 75549276 United States 04/12/2021 09:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This virus has made me interact socially more than I have in over 15 years. -My 24 hour laundromat = permanently closed. Solution is to stand in a crowded laundromat. -I used to do all of my shopping after work in the last hour of a business being open or late night Walmart, specifically to avoid mass groups of people. Everything is closed by 9pm now. Solution is to go stand in crowded retail stores. -the limited social interaction I had with my friends is all but gone. They all got morning jobs. -I recently had a terrible event occur in my life that has mostly taken me out of work. Its not directly due to this, as it was an accident in its purest form, but I still wonder if it wouldn't have occured on a different "nonCovid" timeline. Statistically though, I should be dead. I worked the entire pandemic and my social interaction is probably at a 20x multiplier due to mandated "social distancing" practices. The only positive is it got me into investing/trading/cryptocurrency, which may or may not save me from financial peril. It at least provides an option to earn from home. Tldr: don't be nocturnal or the nightvirus will get you |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80240806 United States 04/12/2021 09:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think its affected my teenager more than me. Not going to normal school, hang out with friends, no dances, no prom, no sports, no graduation, not able to get a driver license, etc. Really hard time on the kids. I worked with the elderly and after witnessing the horrible abuse on them, not being able to be with family, holding them. Plus having to wear all shat shit on my face and the eminent threat of a mandatory vaccine, I quit and took over a construction company. We have work coming out our ears, business is booming. A lot of silver linings during this scamdemic as well. |
