Losing It
Losing It

I respond to losing it with a ratcheting rise of rage
As I ponder the precarious path if I turn the page.
I do savor the sensibility of the silent sage
And yet I gather the grip on a glorious gauge.

A quest lies waiting for us in the setting sun,
Shall we stand firm or will we turn and run?
If your lantern is not at the ready to light the way
The evil enemy eviscerates everything and makes you pay.

The seeds of nature lie in wait with a need
They require disciplined duty to nourish the deed.
Shall we succeed or will we fail at this mission?
Pray that we suffer not a great mortal attrition.

There is no security in clinging to the Status Quo.
We must desperately work against the raging flow,
For if we do not with fervor fight for choosing it
I can without doubt confirm that we will all be losing it.

Yes I always try to rhyme my poems, but not when whirling my bird (I have an African Grey that I occasionally whirl).

Just curious for those out there that are angry with what is happening to the world. How do you calm your mind so you don't stress out over the emotion?.....I'm not referring to fear, for some reason I'm not afraid just angry.

Okay.... well for many I suppose that is natural, I focus on Alcohol myself, but that is just a numbing agent, the feeling generally comes right back after the alcohol is metabolized.

Wow! Thanks for that I've always liked Rush, but that song brings only a faint remembrance. Although I must say I resemble somewhat the old man, except that it is in fact because I can see that I am come to rage.

 Quoting: mouse..

Basically it is the anger from the losing the abundance of the freedoms I grew up with as we move toward a global totalitarian governance. Along with the frustration that so many are blind to it so we can not come together to stop it.

The concept of a similar end goal is not foreign to me, however, it is the evil underpinnings and the methodology employed.

I find myself more on the fear side of things, but it's just flip sides of the same coin.

I practice allowing the feelings to just be as they are, slip down under the mind narration of what they are about and just let them move/vibrate/express/be as they are.... with or without words.

It's really helpful if there's someone receptive to express to/with (not at), someone sympathetic to your point of view, but if you don't have that you could try imagining God or your higher self or some benevolent presence/awareness who cares about our plight listening.... (they are).... sound (vibration, movement) is important, so out loud if possible....

I've been doing this every day and it helps get me in a centered place that puts everything into perspective:

Re: Losing It
Righteous Rage - at whichever time - it's organic, at least with me

Intention - Ruthless Unbending Intention

Decades ago I was catapulted into the unknown. In the unknown I was fully aware WHILE being like a leaf in a storm in the known (daily life) - this for the duration of about 3 years. It was that extreme that I literally had to take one step after the other, second by second, sometimes millisecond by millisecond, again, for about 3 years. Being in the unknown and the known simultaneously I became aware of THEM and have seen and experienced how THEY'VE MANAGED TO PUT PEOPLE INTO A TRANCE, WORLDWIDE - FOR AGES. At first I've considered suicide, but knew relatively fast how ridiculous that consideration was in view of the immensity I've found myself in.

I can't say exactly why I tell you this, but one thing seems to be important at this point in time. THEY MANAGED TO GIVE YOU (to almost all of Humanity) THEIR PERCEPTION AND THEIR PERCEPTION IS ALL MOST OF HUMANITY KNOWS. No drugs or pills - neither natural nor artificial - neither psychoactive or not - can change THAT PERCEPTION. Again, I don't know exactly why I tell you this, possibly because knowing that CAN help in some way - and then - because I read your posts since decades and to me you seem to be honorable replying in this way. I can't remember exactly how many times I wrote a reply to you, but it was - with high certainty - not more than 3 or 4 times.

You're welcome! I'm glad you're interested.  For me it isn't particularly comfortable or pleasant while I'm doing it, but the aftereffects are nice and it clears my mind.

It also seems to pressure whatever emotional baggage I'm holding.... like I said -- not particularly pleasant, but it helps bring awareness to what I'm holding so I can release it and that's a good thing...

I used to carry a lot more rage and anger and something I did was to turn up loud the most raucous music I had (as a cover for the neighbors) and just sound out the rage... like, let it BLOW....  it felt really good.

I wasn't always able to do that, sometimes the anger was just way too up in my head, but when I could it was like a whole body release of the tension of feeling held back by the never-ending guilt reflection all around....

I like your poem, by the way, and I have an African Grey, too.... though I don't whirl her (?????)(lol)

Sorry I didn't respond. My wife and I went to a nice B&B in Indialantic Fl. ,about two hours from our house, for a couple of nights. Our 30th Anniversary. We actually took our grey with us, we have had her since she was a baby 24 years ago. A bit of a pain, but at least we didn't have to board her. We don't clip her wings and we can't get a harness on her so we have a carrier that she also hates.

"Losing It" is in reference to the loss of Freedom that is increasingly being forced upon us.... Clearly an agenda for the global governance in my mind.

As for anger, it is a little strange for me....most times I don't see the spike coming. I'm about a 50/50 mix of cool logic and intense emotion(accentuated with excessive animation).....Ha ha ha!

As you said when I tried the breathing again the process is not comfortable, However the euphoric high afterwards is quite interesting.

That's funny -- married 28 years here and we've had our Grey for 22 years... We first saw her at the pet store as a tiny, fluffy thing in a little plastic container.  At first I thought she was a baby ferret.  We visited her every week and took her home once she was weaned, but she really wasn't eating that well so I continued to spoon feed her for a month or two.  We used to take her on trips and she seemed to like to travel.  Now, we have kids and there isn't room in the car for her cage, but we don't travel often and are never gone long...

Also, I spent some growing up years in Sarasota and still have family in Florida...

I totally got that regarding "Losing It"... when this whole covid thing broke out I went nuts with the insanity of it.... I could see from the beginning that something was totally wrong with the story we were being told and could hardly believe most everyone's seeming acceptance of it.... it's astonishing they keep getting away with it....
