Hey! Thanks for reminding me. My daughter showed the Wimhoff method to me earlier this year while I was visiting her in Virginia. I tried it once and found it very interesting, okay I'll try it again.....Thank You!

You're welcome! I'm glad you're interested.  For me it isn't particularly comfortable or pleasant while I'm doing it, but the aftereffects are nice and it clears my mind.

It also seems to pressure whatever emotional baggage I'm holding.... like I said -- not particularly pleasant, but it helps bring awareness to what I'm holding so I can release it and that's a good thing...

I used to carry a lot more rage and anger and something I did was to turn up loud the most raucous music I had (as a cover for the neighbors) and just sound out the rage... like, let it BLOW....  it felt really good.

I wasn't always able to do that, sometimes the anger was just way too up in my head, but when I could it was like a whole body release of the tension of feeling held back by the never-ending guilt reflection all around....

I like your poem, by the way, and I have an African Grey, too.... though I don't whirl her (?????)(lol)

Sorry I didn't respond. My wife and I went to a nice B&B in Indialantic Fl. ,about two hours from our house, for a couple of nights. Our 30th Anniversary. We actually took our grey with us, we have had her since she was a baby 24 years ago. A bit of a pain, but at least we didn't have to board her. We don't clip her wings and we can't get a harness on her so we have a carrier that she also hates.

"Losing It" is in reference to the loss of Freedom that is increasingly being forced upon us.... Clearly an agenda for the global governance in my mind.

As for anger, it is a little strange for me....most times I don't see the spike coming. I'm about a 50/50 mix of cool logic and intense emotion(accentuated with excessive animation).....Ha ha ha!

As you said when I tried the breathing again the process is not comfortable, However the euphoric high afterwards is quite interesting.

Take Care
