Covid shot log: I'm going to have my 1st vaccination tomorrow (15th April) at 9.05 am (UTC+3)

I still can't understand WHY anyone would get an experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccine with 1yr of development for a virus with such tiny kill %. But go knock yourself out. We do need less people on the earth it seems. RIP

mRNA vaccines as a concept have been in development for years ever since the Swine Flu scare. It's not something that was conjured up now.

Anyway, this is now my sixth day (including the vaccination day) after the vaccination.

There's nothing to report.

Had my blood drawn today for the analysis of haemoglobin, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglyserides. I've got a history of having too high haemoglobin (185) and cholesterol, and I'm taking low-dose aspirin and statins to counter them.

Signed up for the regular blood donation, too. It helps with the haemoglobin levels. I called them and asked if the Pfizer jab prevents blood donation, but it doesn't as long as I don't have any flu-like symptoms.

Exactly. Floating around as a hyped new tool for ever. Just that they never managed to make any impact until now.

I said I'd report anything out of the ordinary, so: I've been having frequent nosebleeds.

It seems like anything that increases blood pressure in my head will cause my nose to bleed for a while. I attribute it to the clouds of fine dust, pollen and road salt now in the air. I'm spraying my nostrils with sesame oil as it has helped before.

Other than that everything's normal.

My post-jab bloodtests came out normal. Haemoglobin is now at a tolerable level (went from 185 to 168) and all cholesterol is in the green.

I donated blood today. It's been two months since the last time. They wanted me to start taking iron supplements, but I see little point in that since I need to keep my haemoglobin levels down. That was the whole point of my donating blood!

But nose bleeding is among reported side-effects of the new Covid vaccines.
You took tests early afte the shot, maybe take them again. Here in table 1 the important values to look out for (the poor man in this case report had the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine):

Good for you OP. I got my second shot yesterday, Moderna. Sore arm but less sore than the first time. I did not have any side effects besides the sore arm.

There are some really smart people in this site that believe in really stupid shit. It's pretty unbelievable to be honest.

I have been hearing an incredible uptick in ambulance runs the last week or so. It may be linked to bad vax outcomes.

You may want to preplan and book yours, the space is being filled up, quick.

It's not the intention of this medical experimentation program/clinical trial that everybody drop dead. That's just a bonus. It's really all about those spike proteins and the potential for neurological disease six months to a year out (helped by all those booster vaccines!). When and if this happens, they can blame it on a much bigger and deadlier COVID.

I agree. If people know the risks and want to do it, then by all means. Same with wearing masks. It's the forcing and mandating and the violation of rights that I don't like. If people could just do what they want and make their own decisions w/o worry or threat of government "consequence", this would be such a cool place to live.

Yes, every spring when the snow melts and all this seasonal road dust/salt is in the air. That's why I thought about not reporting it, but fair's fair. It's a bona fide symptom potentially attributable to the vaccine, so I'll tell about it.

Ok. So, here's another report before the weekend. From now on, I won't be reporting every day unless something comes up.

The nosebleeds have stopped after I started spraying my nostrils with sesame oil. I guess it protects the mucuous membranes from the dust.

Yesterday, I experienced depression and anxiety all day long, a diffuse constricting/burning feeling around my chest and a vague fear of death. There was no pain. I just felt cold and very uncomfortable.

Anxiety in itself is not unusual for me and I've had spells like this before. I've been diagnosed as clinically depressed decades ago and although I have developed means of dealing with it without SSRIs (which I refuse to take now as they only serve to blunt the extremes in your emotional spectrum), the anxiety was rather bad yesterday.

Ok. I guess that's another potential vaccine symptom worth reporting, so have a field day with it. :)

Today I feel much better, though.
