OP, good job on photographing them. I don't know what they are but I have seen them. They are intelligent and try to look like a star or plane. They are also telepathic.
The time lapse photo looks like some of the photos in the book Project Identification by Harley Rutledge. He studied these things and also used all kinds of measuring instruments.
