Maybe not right now, but right.... NOW! Nice, made it through that couple of seconds to post. And apparently I made it long enough to write this too! |

(OP) User ID: 72493816 United States 04/14/2021 04:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nelson snuck in a small but great question. He based it off of the cross examination about whether this man’s organization was a business or not. Nelson asked if witnesses who volunteer their time are more trustworthy. The prosecution objected. But if the jury was thinking about all the free expert work the prosecution got it makes it an interesting point to consider. Quoting: Corporal Punishment Good point, nine of the Jurors work, two are retired, one is unemployed. "Never underestimate the pain of a person. In all honesty, everyone is struggling. I think that is another reason I’ve not been watching as much. I don’t like all this talk about death and how we are all just waiting to expire at any moment. |

Yeah, but he might be only getting paid $15 a day for jury duty, I forget what my state pays but it is a joke and not far from that number. It’s funny that the government has hundreds of thousands to pay attorneys, doctors, and expert witnesses. But it doesn’t pay squat to the common man serving on a jury. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79324350 United States 04/14/2021 04:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Didn't see and video of him spitting a pill out, sure... but it's a fucking bodycam not a 4k HD film camera. The video of the Wright shooting, the frame rate wasn't fast enough to catch the cycling of the action of the gun when it fired and it was right in front of the camera. |

It would be hugely disruptive if you had your own business. Personally I think paid jurors might be a good thing. What about expert jurors? If you can have expert witnesses why can’t you have expert jurors? Is picking random people from the voter rolls really the best way to find smart, fair people? |

The CO detector in your house doesn't even beep until it gets to around 40 ppm. I'm on Chauvin's side here but just laying out the facts based on measurements I've taken personally on late model vehicles and also older ones. You would need a vehicle from the mid-90's or earlier to have exhaust CO concentrations that could be harmful in an open air environment, and even then it's a stretch. |

But let’s think about how the government approaches things. Let’s use an EPA way of thinking. By that manner no level is safe and everyone should avoid any exposure because it could be lethal. |

Since experts disagree, you have to be an expert to judge the experts. I think the takeaway is “trust the experts”, which we hear a lot these days, may be the stupidest thing ever said. |

Quoting: PageMarker If the cop is guilty, there will be riots. If there is no decision, there will be riots. The only issue is when will the verdict be delivered for the riots to break out? The problem will be people will expect the death penalty, but that's how ignorant they are. I think reasonable doubt has been established in at least a few jurors, but you know the peer pressure during deliberations will be immense and perhaps even some threat innuendo used to convince dissenters to convict. I hope someone stands their ground, because no matter what anyone says, from what I saw, and if I was on the jury panel, there is no way I can convict with 100 percent certainty that Chauvin committed an actual crime of which he is accused. And if that stresses anyone out, this is my opinion, and I will stand by it. |

User ID: 80175738 Canada 04/14/2021 05:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm going to give yesterday to the Prosecution. When the Defense showed the Jury the Prior arrest video from 2019 he didn't show them where Floyd said "I can't Breathe" That was the Bombshell he should have dropped. not good, it was supposed to be a day for the defense The State also destroyed Nelsons use of force expert on cross examination. Defense should put up similar situations of Officer Chauvin doing same thing to 2 petite women, maybe 3 slight men who handle it, with discomfort, but without not being able to breathe or of course die. Automatic only manslaughter for failing to render first aid when non-responsive, no pulse. Last Edited by Big Duke6 on 04/14/2021 05:25 PM |

If you've watched all or most it,then can you give a quick synopsis ? A quick synopsis, though,is probably not possible. Any bullet points you can lay out ? You're one of the most rational and reasonable peeps here,so I would like your take and maybe your prediction. All of the Jury is from the area where this occurred. They have all seen bits and pieces of the Viral video, the most incriminating parts that were cherry picked by the State for them to see. Both sides did well Cross examining the others Experts. The defense is Floyd died of an Overdose due to a bad heart. The rest is still to be seen. The defense only has to prove reasonable doubt.Im not sure if they have done that yet in the eyes of this Jury. I predict a Hung Jury is the best the Defense can do. No. I predict acquittal. Because they want the country to tear itself to bits. 'They' don't want a stable US, they want all of you to be at each others throats while their competition (mom and pop shops nee middle class) are burned to the ground. I suspect that this summer will make last summer look like a church gathering in comparison. Russia will move on Ukraine and China on Taiwan while US metro areas are burning. |

Defense should have instructed Fowler on that. The shift sargent or lieutenant prosecution witnesses mentioned turning the squad off after it was determined GF was deceased. |
