Let's Not Forget the Other Times Fauci Was Wrong or Lied.
Perhaps old news here, but how is it that this guy had a job post 1983 after this epic failure? Fauci claimed that children living in close quarters could catch AIDS from family members.

The mysterious and deadly AIDS disease may be transmitted by routine close contact in a family household, doctors said Thursday.
...

In an editorial, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci of the National Institutes of Health said AIDS has a death rate of at least 50 percent -- possibly as high as 75 to 100 percent -- with a doubling of the number of patients afflicted every six months.

In May 1983, amid the rapidly escalating AIDS crisis, a doctor at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) promoted a stunning theory about the newly encountered disease in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Noting that the same issue of the journal contained an article documenting one of the first cases of the immunodeficiency disease’s appearance in an infant, the author sounded an alarm about “the possibility that routine close contact, as within a family household, can spread the disease.”

The article took an increasingly speculative turn in promoting this new theory. “If indeed the latter is true, then AIDS takes on an entirely new dimension,” it continued. “If we add to this possibility that nonsexual, non-blood-borne transmission is possible, the scope of the syndrome may be enormous.” Although the article reiterated the need to “be cautious” in accepting these findings as they awaited more evidence, the discovery “should at least alert us to the possibility that we are truly dealing with AIDS in children,” as transmitted through routine interaction.

The author of the article has since attained widespread familiarity. It was Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, a rising star within the NIH bureaucracy.

Press accounts, noticing Fauci’s article, immediately sounded the alarm. “Household contacts can transmit AIDS,” read one nationally syndicated report on the UPI wire dated May 5, 1983. The Associated Press queried the next day “Does AIDS spread by Routine Contact?” and quoted Fauci as their lead authority. The New York Times raised the specter of household transmission between family members, invoking Fauci’s commentary as its main authority.

Fauce clearly lied about the J&J before it was paused. And he did so in a disgusting and dangerous way:
Tricking people into taking it, instead of enabling informed consent.

Medical journal subscription needed.
Link NOT convenient.

.

The people who need to be convinced (not people in here regularly) would need access to the journal. Not some site they’d label “fringe”, like the link to the site with “liberty” in the title. . .
You know they don’t trust that stuff.

fascist fauci is the head of eugenics for the fourth reich plutocrats. he's not "failing" or "making mistakes" he is a great success with chronic disease up to 55%, autism 1 in 30 kids.. early attempts at mass pandemic eugenics programs did fail after promising starts (aids, ebola, swine flu, zika...) but now with gates on board in 2010 joining the rockefeller foundation the covid19 propaganda campaign turning regular deaths into "covid" deaths and using the PCR test to generate fake "cases" is driving the masses to take the death shot injection that causes death in 100's of different variations and is untraceable.

Uhh..

You may dislike Fauci and think anything about him. But back then AIDS was a new thing. Even the article you link is saying "newly encountered disease".

So.. yeah many people were wrong about it back then because there was not enough research on it yet.

The article classifies AIDS as a mysterious and newly encoutnered disease.

Its pretty obvious that on 1983 it was still new, there was not much research on it and people didn't know exactly how it was transmitted from person to person.

Well done OP. I too have been sharing the duplicitous, fraudulent, and criminal nature of Dr. Mengela Redux for a year now. He was agencies’ point man on the other depopulation initiative - HIV/AIDS, while raking in millions and destroying esteemed doctors with an alternative point of view. He should be under the prison for the criminally insane, not left to destroy millions more lives.
