Haven't read the book but, damn, that's some good writing in just the summary alone! And accurate at that!

If I were to listen only to musicians who shared my exact moral and ethical standards I would never hear another note in my life. Good thing I'm an adult that's capable of separating art from the artist and simply enjoy the product for its own sake.
