It started out as just moving a large bookcase behind my webcam to make it look nice for a webcam interview. Ended up with me moving about 12 million lbs of stuff around and throwing out a bunch of old stuff (empty boxes, and assorted other nonsense that I was storing because, "you never know when you need a box, or a bottle of vitamins with no lid from the year 2000" LOL. Place looks amazing now, but I lost one of the 2 remotes! I searched high and low. Went through the trash can in the room where it was last seen. I had moved it from the TV recliner in an adjacent room to the desk top beside the current forest of vitamin pill and allergy medicine bottles. Now it is gone. GONE! So now I have to get up and walk 50 feet to get the 1 remote that saves me from walking 10 feet to turn lights on and off. I feel like I just walked 20 miles. Everything hurts. And the one precious is still missing. My Precious! It has been reincarnated and is waiting for you on amazon.com THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IS HERE NOW. |

[link to www.ebay.com (secure)] Its just the idea that I could lose something like that. I did the same thing with those binoculars I lost 4 years ago. Now I have 2 pairs of the same super awesome Leupold 6X binocs. I guess they stopped making them, so kind of glad I got the second pair all the same, because they are awesome. I have some big heavy expensive ones from sailing, but these little ones are just so much better to use. Half the weight, super bright clear image, and right around $100. Somehow it was hiding on the back reference under a piece of paper. I was renewing my insurance, printed out the ID cards, and Putting the 2 pages it prints on the desk. Then figured I would fold one up and put it in my wallet. When I picked up the papers, the stupid remote appeared. Whitish remote, hiding on a whitish table, under some white paper.
