There's a formal phrase for this in corporate America and has been for over 40 years, it's called "over productivity".

Most corporations have to depend mostly on people with IQs of about 95-105, average people with a BA or BS, dullards. Good little drone slave types.

People with any creatvity or intelligence are usually a threat in these types of jobs. I was "let go" once because I "made everyone else look bad" by getting a weeks worth of work done in half a day. I also kept self starting projects like keeping things clean and organized and they didn't like that, I had to "take directions only" or not do anythng.

It's a bitter pill to swallow in old age but life is for the average person who doesn't question and just goes through the routines of life. They don't aspire to the highest highs or risk things like moves tot the big city to pursue a goal. They do their job drink their beer marry the first person who comes along raise thier children and are perfectly happy.

It's people cursed with knowledge and questioning that are miserable.

the boss said he couldn't believe I got the whole warehouse filled up so fast, so i assume that means we did a great job.

Also the other zone leader is just going BERZERKO on the truck driver because he's a Trump supporter type, massive Trump derrangment syndrome, he was sitting there while he was tryin to back into the dock and was having trouble because of a crane in the way and he asked if he could pull into the other bay and he wouldn't tell him he could, he was just trying to maliciously make it hard for him which could have caused serious damage to equipment , so I ran out and told him he could pull into the other dock and the zone leader got all pissed, fuckin CRAZY ,

I work for myself and am the only employee. Have had POC apply to me for a job. But it is still "just me".
Now I am being threatened for not hiring minorities.
If I can do the job myself and are the only employee - how can I be forced to hire a POC ?

Instead of formal volunteer work, I go around my neighborhood stealth and pickup trash, clip back weeds, sweep alleys, fill holes the city leaves undone, stuff like that.

A hippie type store has been semi negligent for years now, all the stores are. I noticed a portion of the easement appeared to have never been trimmed, i mean decades of weeds and dirt were growing outwards onto the sidewalk.
They let the lawn get all over grown before they mow as well it's really anoying and messy looking.

When they do mow they hire this old black dude who arrives with an old hand mower hanging out the trunk of his beater. He doesn't cut low enough which is why the grass looks like shit.

Then I noticed he pokes around with the trimmer, but he never actually trimmed back anything. Weeds are everywhere. He doesn't trim back the sidewalk so it looks messy and dirty. He doesn't know how to use the trimmer, what to trim, or seem to take any pride in the work.

Yet this is who they hire, the old black dude. Well that's all nice and cute except he doesn't do the job. Then I'm out there in the midde of the night, Ms Righty over 60 cleaning up their undone work. I'm sick of it. After I did 10 minutes of hand trimming with a PAIR OF SIZZORS it looked great.

I wouldn't hire a black or put a woman in a position of authority. They're both nothing but trouble.
