Let's say, that Russia and China WILL carry out a first strike using nukes. What WOULD happen?

1. Russia and China hit the US

2. US strikes back if they still can. I wonder how many nukes the US has that are REALLY-REALLY ready to go within seconds? And where to fire them? It's a shitty task in a panic mode, especially for an old senile guy.

Both opponents have absolutely huge landmasses. Where do you hit China if you want to paralyze them? Their key people would already be hiding in a bunker somewhere, with their fingers on further buttons. China has 50 cities with population above 2 million and hundreds of militarybases. The country is overpopulated. One helluva hitlist. The US has 4 cities above 2 million (which could actually also be a benefit for the US).

Russia is interesting, they have almost no major cities, gigantic land mass, and military also spead all over the place. With that thought, where would you locate your conventional military, when fearing a nuclear counterstrike? - ALONG THE BORDER next to ANOTHER COUNTRY, which the attacker would consider their friend. No threat there. AND the troops are ready to go with the aftermath.

3. Would other countries get involved? I mean NATO-countries would be obliged to help. The UK and France, would they have the balls? Or, would they actually get also hit in the first wave? The other NATO-countries with conventional weapons, would probably "opt out" or send food & tents.

4. What about other countries? Would any of the parties hit somewhere in Africa, South America, Southeast Asia, or Scandinavia? And what about India, would they join the exchange? And Israel? Iran? UAE?

5. Probably within 1-2 days, all sides would run out of nukes, or the ability to launch them.

6. The aftermath would be grim. The world would be potentially without any electricity or internet, for a very long time.

Would there be any safe locations? Where could one go to escape the fallout?

There were bunkers for sale a few years ago... I do not recall which state. Possibly South Dakota or Wyoming. They were inexpensive too... Not sure if they went deep enough though. Some have said there are suitcase nukes already in the US... No confirmation on that. Pray against it & add Ephesians 6:11 Armor over the entire US... In Jesus Name!
