because crypto miners bought all the good video cards so they have to use a nvidia geforce 115 which can only do about 1 fps if overclocked. blame all them peopel getting sucked into cryptos

I agree. They should be using 4k video at all times, period. They certainly have the technology on the rover.

Sure, it may take 6 months to transfer a full minute of 4k video, interplanetary. Whereas 1 FPS video can be received in more or less real time.

But I'm willing to wait 6 months. So I can then bitch about why didn't those dumbasses use a reduced resolution/FPS video so we can see these cool landmark events in real time?

If they can send us a 1 fps video in real time then why don't they wait a few minutes to send us a video in 30 fps?

It generally takes about 5 to 20 minutes for a radio signal to travel the distance between Mars and Earth, depending on planet positions. Using orbiters to relay messages is beneficial because they are much closer to Perseverance than the Deep Space Network (DSN) antennas on Earth.

Taking off on Mars is like flying at 100000 feet on earth because of the limited atmosphere !!!!
I don’t know of any copter that can achieve that.

It wouldn't be a few minutes. It would be a few weeks.

Which again, I'd be willing to wait for. So I could then bitch about why didn't they use 1 FPS so we can see it all in real time and not have to wait weeks.

okay thought about it. they got giant space rockets which they can connect to the planets to make the correct sides face directly towareds each other. and they can use the special space wifi network that elon musk invented speshally to transmit 4k videos!!! wow thinking abot stuff solved all them problems in a few minutes!!!! problem solved!!!! now get to it nasa!!!!

London is at 51.5 degrees north , meaning the most upright a shadow, cast in London , on june 21 , when the sun is midday , is 90 - (51.5 - 23.5) = 68 degrees

this video was taken in april 1964 , with the maximum shadow 55 degrees

his stubby shadow is impossible, and shows when the goat passes a foot behind him

also the fence poles cast no shadow

thanks for trying , you proved my point

I should have said 'impossible angles of shadows' in the video

I covered it in great detail the last two pages of this thread

even the beach , at midday, is nearly deserted , as is the entire harbour area
