What peer-reviewed scientific journal was it published in?

^can't handle simple facts and logical conclusions.

I can't walk through a parking lot with a mask and my glasses on without my glasses fogging up to the point that I almost can't see anything, but dudes and gals are driving around all over the place rocking masks and glasses.

I give these special people a very wide birth every time I see them.

Looks like somebody didn't do their homework.

Surgeons work in an oxygen-enriched environment, and I don't see them pumping extra oxygen into Wal-mart. Otherwise, pre-COVID, doctors would wear masks as little as possible. The only time they'd wear them for hours on end would be in the OR, which is oxygen enriched.

As for burqas, studies have shown a slew of health problems resulting from wearing them. Lowered VF (ventilatory function), high rates of osteoporosis and rickets due to lack of Vitamin D, and giving birth to babies much more prone to have seizures in their first week of life.

Motorcycle helmets aren't even comparable. They have much more airflow than a mask or burqa.

You think masklets and coronatards care about studies or science for that matter? They don't. Not if it concludes anything other than covid is a dangerous and deadly global pandemic and that masks and vaccines are our only hope.

When this whole thing started I was presenting anyone I could with the Lancet study I'll reference below showing that covid mortality rates were less than 1% and that the initial estimates and subsequent media reporting was completely sensationalist and erroneous due to the fact that they weren't factoring for undiagnosed cases, which account for the overwhelming amount of cases, especially in the early stages of an outbreak.

You know what I got? Crickets. And these were from Ivy Leaguers in my company chat, highly educated, high IQ people. Doesn't matter. Fucking crickets. Because what I was presenting, despite being solid science, went agains the media reporting. The fact is the average person is an unthinking, walking drone, believing whatever they are told by the "authorities". Perhaps the NWO is correct when they say the useless eaters need to be culled.

I'm seeing this occur with otherwise intelligent people as well. Even people I would call independent thinkers are falling for the narrative.

It's really left me scratching my head wondering how this is occurring. It's like people have been put to sleep or hypnotized, and I'm beginning to suspect that sophisticated subliminal messages are being used.

I don't watch TV. I became disenfranchised years ago when they kept canceling or ruining all the good shows, so I decided it was futile to bother investing in any new ones. Maybe that's a reason why I'm awake. Maybe they're using subliminal messages that I'm not seeing.

The article cited by the post was written by an exercise physiologist in a journal called Medical Hypotheses and is entitled, "Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis." It is less science than what the post claims.

Medical Hypotheses says its purpose "is to publish interesting theoretical papers. The journal will consider radical, speculative and non-mainstream scientific ideas provided they are coherently expressed."

In November, it published the article cited in the Facebook post, which was authored by Baruch Vainshelboim. The article says Vainshelboim works in a cardiology division of the U.S. Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System in California. He identifies himself in his LinkedIn profile as a clinical exercise physiologist, with a doctorate from University of Porto in Portugal.

The part of the article copied in the Facebook post lists 12 physiological effects as being caused by wearing a face mask. They include conditions such as hypoxemia and hypercapnia, as well as more general effects such as shortness of breath, "toxicity" and "increased muscle tension."

"This is a list of generally discredited hypotheses that have been tested and disproved," said Benjamin Neuman, biology professor at Texas A&M University and chief viologist of the university’s Global Health Research Complex.

"This seems to be a piece of deceptive writing from what appears to be a non-expert. It isn't science."

The first two alleged effects on the list, hypoxemia and hypercapnia, have been debunked by fact-checkers.

A fact-check found that mask wearing does not cause hypoxemia, a below-normal level of oxygen in the blood. PolitiFact rated False a claim that masks decrease oxygen intake.

Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, said that although the article appears to be presenting a hypothesis, many of the effects it claims cite evidence related to N95 masks typically used by healthcare workers.

We’ve reported there are studies that show that medical N95 respirators may result in increased carbon dioxide, which can lead to headaches and fatigue.

PolitiFact has also rated False a claim that masks "will kill quite a few people, it’s well known that they reduce blood oxygen levels and those with respiratory and cardiac disorders will die."

And we rated False a claim that wearing face masks is more harmful to your health than going without one.

The article was written by an exercise physiologist and was published by Medical Hypotheses, a journal that says its purpose is to publish "interesting theoretical papers."

I don't trust them. They keep switching back and forth on everything.

I don't even trust the governors who are currently being hailed as heroes by some for keeping their states open and free.

All it will take is for them to tell us there's now a new COVID "variant" that's extremely deadly for the big trap to be completely sprung. Then even the current "heroes" will say they must "regretfully" jump on board with the program.

There are a slew of doctors saying that the vaccines could actually cause a deadly strain to emerge, and this will, of course, be blamed on the unvaccinated.

Executive Summary:

The peer-reviewed scientific evidence for the protective effect of face mask and respiratory virus infection in healthcare and community settings is overwhelming. The following studies, all published in 2020, focus on the usefulness of wearing facemasks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly all these studies conclude that, outside of the healthcare setting, wearing a face mask reduces one’s risk of being exposed to SARS CoV2 virus, and transmitting the virus to others, if infected.

Controlled experiments similarly showed that mask wearing reduced the amount of exposure to virus particles. Importantly, countries, states and jurisdictions that imposed mask wearing mandates and encouraged adherence were generally associated with lower disease transmission and overall decreases in disease trends. Despite political controversies surrounding mask wearing, the published scientific evidence strongly supports mask wearing, coupled with hand hygiene and social distancing to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in the community.
