Cops know what type of people and situations they have to deal with as an officer. They owe people dignity and benefit of the doubt no matter how awful they might be. They are in authority and its expected that they remain cool, calm and collected.

As for hubby and I, we had a BLM march through our remote suburb last summer which shocked us as we literally have almost no blacks out here. It's not an issue. I guess they just wanted to make a statement that we're not safe out here either. We are taking gun safety courses and hope to buy guns for each of us soon. Laws in Mass are very restrictive. Personally I'd prefer a shotgun but not sure I could handle it.

The cop didn't go to jail because floyd OD'ed on drugs, the cop died because he did everything you don't do in that situation and floyd dieing is exactly why you don't do that shit. Had he done his duty as a cop and floyd died, he would not be in this predicament. You do understand that because of his dumbass decision to do a neck restraint they CAN'T clear his name now it's impossible to rule out the possibility that he was responsible for floydds death. Added together with the fact that he did something that could only make floydds situation worse, their is now evidence that supports that he intended to hurt him.

If you truly believe the cop is innocent, you shouldn't be mad at guy on drugs for dieing at an inconvenient time, you should be mad at the police department for hiring a guy as dumb as bricks because he was not not qualified to meet the expectations required yet they irresponsibly handed him the job anyway.
