Mask worms are real

You’ve been boiling masks in your free time? What other weird hobbies do you have?

I had a few masks sitting near me. Been open and unused for months.

Have a Samsung Note 9 and used 2x zoom and was able to find 2 on one of them. Didn't see any of the purported movements though. Otherwise it looked exactly like what I see in these videos.

Definitely seemed out of place - running through multiple layers like it was. The other two I didn't see anything.

Just thought it was weird I could see it with the phone camera at 2x. Stood out insanely well, yet looking without it I couldn't see anything.

This is in interesting and it's great that people are making videos capturing the phenomenon, but someone with some ability to get better answers needs to step in and figure out exactly what this is.

Maybe it's nothing and is something that's always been there, but I would assume that this would be known.

If not something known, what is it? Is it just in masks and not other fabric, has anyone investigated that?

Really thinking if it's something new, that it's parasitic that and has adapted over the last year with the exponential wearing of face masks. The warm, moist, and probably bacterial laden environment might be something that is ripe for whatever it is. But if this was the case, it's not like it knows the difference between a fresh unused mask and a blanket, so maybe not.

Just not seeing how it could be something sinister since masks come from everywhere. Walmart, Amazon, Target, local stores, Etsy, the gas station. I mean they can't all be manufactured by the some company, and if not, compromised such that someone is intentionally contaminating, that just doesn't seem feasible.

A scientist with expertise needs to step in and identify what it is, once that's determined, whether or not its a threat and dangerous.

I saw this vid and I have a microscope so I checked and got the same result! WTF are these things?
I took a brand new NHS mask sealed in plastic, opened it and looked with a 200x microscope. I could see black fibers? everywhere. But when I took a cotton bud with my saliva on it and placed it in contact with the mask the black fibers move!!!!
I have no idea what these things are but I found that if the mask is boiled then dried the black things remain but do not move!

Yet to see anyone test 60hz frequencies and others on these things. That would be interesting to see.

I put the mask over the coffee cup of hot water and it popped out. It wasn't there before placing on coffee cup. 2nd time I tried again and wasn't successful. Will try again and suggest you all to too, for sake of those close to you.

That's probably ok for the masks but what about the ones people have already inhaled?
