Our independence day celebrations are rooted in the spirit of rebellion as it is. Considering what we are celebrating and the fact that fireworks are illegal in a lot of states.

I think it's more valuable to remember April 19th, 1775. The Battle of Concord & Lexington. That leads to independence and it was the first engagement. Since that just occurred this week it's just a reminder of how few know your American history.

That said. I don't even feel patriotic this year. An asterisk president sports that allow people like Lebron to call out a police officer protecting life from another wielding a knife I am sorry... Just doesn't feel like the America I remember. People stopping a perp with a knife once would have been called a hero. Today their doxxed and their families are in jeopardy because of superstars who are paid stupid money and advocate for foreign superpowers like puppets.
