Oh sure. I never kill them . Catch and release . Especially a senior breeder like that . He went back in the water and I had him hooked by his mouth with my thumb and I waved him back and fourth for a moment and set him free and he went straight back down into the deep water.

That wasnt enclosed . it connects to canals that run through a 25 sqmi area and eventually connect to a brackish canal that runs to the indian river and eventually the ocean through the sebastian inlet .

even that lake it was in was 150 yards long and about 40 - 50 yards wide . Pretty big body of water. And thats small compared to the largest big mouth Ive ever seen taken out that lake but you need live shiners to get the trophy bass.


That one I just caught was maybe the biggest Ive ever gotten on 6" zoom pumkin seed lizards weedless mount with eagle claw 2/0 offset hook

nah bro this thing was 4-5 inches wide . I've caught probably a thousand or more largemouth in my 44 years this thing was over 5 . my thumb kept slipping out its mouth it was so heavy . You shoulda seen how wide it was . I just took shit shots cause I was holding it with one hand and trying to take a picture with the other . It was ABOVE my knee and touching the ground and im 6'1
