He was an okay enough guy for his 15 minutes or so following his good fortune in the olympics. It was a solid 15 minutes; he didn't become a major, permanent celebrity, but he indelibly made his name.

Then he lived his post-celebrity life for awhile, no worries about where his next meal would be coming from.

But when he re-emerged into the limelight, I can't imagine why anyone would care. Nonetheless, he became a name again.

Then he became Caitlyn, I guess. And he had to tell us all about it. Yes, I'm thinking this just about pegs the needle on the annoyingness meter.
