... this, according to a study in Israel.
Like I told my ex-wife, I said: honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it’s all in the reflexes…

The study was carried out on 491 patients with AIIRD and 99 controls at the hospitals. Of the 491 patients, 1.2% or six people developed HZ. Five of them got the herpes infection after the first dose and one after the second.

Re: New Pfizer side effect - Herpes
Also known as Shingles. Shingles is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox, also known as the varicella zoster virus. After a person has chickenpox, the virus stays in their body and becomes inactive. Years later, the virus can reactivate, causing shingles (also known as herpes zoster.)

Scientists don’t know exactly what causes the virus to reactivate but there may be multiple factors. As a person ages, their immune system begins to weaken and is less likely to prevent the virus from reactivating. That’s why your risk of shingles increases with age. People with weakened immune systems are more likely to get shingles.

Shingles cannot be passed from person to person, but a person with shingles can spread the virus to another person who has not had chickenpox or been vaccinated to protect against it. That person could then develop chickenpox from the virus, but they would not develop shingles.

Re: New Pfizer side effect - Herpes
I am surrounded at work by people who got the moderna shot. a few weeks latter I started breaking out with a shingles type rash on my side and back. Be careful, they can shed the shingles to the unvaccinated.
