Wait to short crypto until July 25th-30th. Ethereum will be around 2100$. Short it to 500$. Become rich.

I still think there is one tiny relief rally up after crypto falls in a couple days.

July 25-30th is the best short of your lifetime. Short 2100$ eth. Win.

Thanks for the thoughts and expectations.

Still working out specifically how to do this as it's not something I've done before.

That timeline was before ethereum started posting hidden bearish divergence like CRAZY. The hidden bearish divergence signaled doom was coming and no upside would happen.

So disregard that short price/date.

Basically doom is coming faster than that and there will be no pre-doom pop upward.

Shorting is very lucrative but you have to honestly be really good at it. You have to not leverage too high. You have to use a stop loss. You have to be okay losing 1-2% and cutting a losing trade before it gets too ugly.

Never ever accept a loss over a 1-2%. Losing 1-2% is nothing. Losing 20% is horrific. Degenerate gambler losers don't use stop losses. Be a responsible adult and trade responsibly. Trading is profitable if you do it properly. It's not if you gamble. Gamblers always lose eventually.

Wise and Sage advice. Thank you!

I'm not a fan of leverage and shorting in general. Even when long, I never knowingly (mistakes happen!) take a trade without a stop loss and take profit in place. Using bots makes this disciple much easier and reduces the emotions that come into play. The strategy is small but consistent net positive wins. Not looking to get rich overnight.

Although I do not like the additional risk, after several years at this I also need to expand my skills and it's probably as good a time as any to give shorting a try.

You are correct - gamblers always loose.

I'll be cautious and responsible... :)
