God this one is scary looking. An old friend told me bitcoin goes to 1000$ this upcoming bear market. For bitcoin to do that the stock market would have to do something bad like this. What is that based on?? The market having to do that for BTC to reach 1k?? What if BTC is simply moved to the side as future trash while other coins take its spot (hypothetically?) All coins are based on bitcoin as bitcoin drives the sentiment in the market. Where bitcoin goes, the others follow. Bitcoin creates the hype. Hype creates hysteria. Hysteria drives bull markets. No bitcoin? No hype. No hysteria. _______________________ All markets are connected because the secret driver for all assets is the us dollar index. If the us dollar causes bitcoin to go to 1,000$... the stock market would have to be utterly decimated. Like the worst crash in stock market history. Which I am expecting. I expect the great depression #2. But, hypothetically, if BTC were to lose that position? Could a major drop be averted? Clearly you dont ever see BTC lose its spot, right? But if in some weird way it would happen, what would an alternative outcome be? (sorry if my english isnt clear in this regard)
