To be punk is to question whatever the status quo happens to be at any given time. Currently, “The Man” is a lefty, and lefties are the new oppressors. True punks will undermine and rail against that. The song wasn’t titled “Liberalism in the UK” or “Conservatism in the UK”...it was “ANARCHY in the UK”.
