My beautiful exquisite lovely Cat was killed last night

Sorry OP. That happened to my precious cat about 10 years ago and it was hard to get over her. I took at least a year or two.
Then 2 years ago I got a new one that kinda reminds me of her and I couldn't be happier. Her personality is so cute.. it's like my kitty returned to me.
Stay strong and keep the faith.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our kitty in December - he was an outdoor feral cat we were trying to convert to indoors but we let him out on a beautiful day and he never returned. He was found dead later by one of our neighbors, I guess he was much older than we realized and just passed away. We're still getting over it, he brought us a lot of joy during this horrid COVID time even though we needed to give him a lot of medical attention. We thought he was getting better but....God decided he needed a friend.

Cats are very stupid when it comes to traffic. They also don't stand a chance against the neighbor's pitbull, the coyotes who roam the neighborhood, or the guy down the street who shoots cats who are poaching birds off his feeder.

Cats are wonderful companion .Got about 10 barn cats / TNR / and 3 kitty at house .
Sad seeing some of them die of old age when you got them as kittens but everyone dies

It is the path least followed...
