Likely just a distraction.

Bill Gates has played a pivotal role in covid and now still had a role to play with fake meat industries.

With the divorce, he can stay off the radar with the excuse that he has legal things to take care of or needs emotional time, etc etc

Also, as another poster said, perhaps his wife found out what he was really doing and she didn't support it. Realistically she could bethe closest person in his life so she might overhear something or see something or otherwise have suspicions.

Regardless, I think its just a distraction from him. Also, as another poster said, Bill gates runs with the elite crowd that is known to engage in sex parties, sex trafficking and the like. He might have lost himself to that world and thinks he can do without his wife just fine.

Shame, if either one of them were ever once in love with the other. Loss of love and heartbreak is a sad matter, even amongst the monsters like Bill gates. In fact, true love could have been the only thing that would have saved him and stopped his agenda.
