That's where you're wrong, buckaroo.
You can kill an animal with 1 well placed shot. Most gun owners have thousands of rounds stockpiled.
Not to mention the desperate who will eventually hunt down the food hoarders.
Ammo will be worth its weight in gold if food distribution ever screeches to a halt.
