Any dipshit that believes the moons "gravity" lifts the water 12 hours apart separated by longitude needs to have their head squished in a wine press...

Tides are straight up mockery of heliocentrism by the Creator...

Filled my bathtub with water...It now has high and low tides

Great, go ahead, the cause of the tides 2 high and 2 low every day is due to...........?

Please explain the mechanism.

No curvature on Lake Michigan. No curvature on Lake Superior. No curvature on Lake Huron...

No curvature on any oceans...

Re: How can the moon cause 2 high tides and 2 low tides in a day?
Okay, so the moon cancels out gravity over the area of earth it is over. That lower gravity allows the sea to bulge upward in that zone.

Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the world the gravitational pull from the moon has also reduced gravity from behind the earth. That creates a second smaller bulging of the oceans.

These are the two tidal bulges mentioned above.

The earth rotates every 24 hours, so both bulges pass by in that time.

The sun also influences tides, remember it's gravitational pull is powerful enough to counteract the centrifugal force of the earth's orbit around it.

So tides are complicated, but that is a simplified version of why you get two tides.

Hope that helps.

THAT'S THE BEST EXPLANATION I HAVE READ YET.

IT SOUNDS COMPETELY IMPLAUSIBLE, BUT IT'S WAY BETTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHERS WHICH SOUND COMPLETELY RETARDED.

I used to watch a vid on utoob that showed the magnetic relation to the tides and how they were totally unrelated to the moon.

Can't find that video anymore.

I hope you can, anything that goes against explanations I've been told by man for various things I really want to hear anything opposed to it. Not that I am the decider of truth but I know quite a few global lies already, factually to be so.

Thats due to the reverse revolution of the earth's iron-nickel core. The reverse revolution creates friction that produces static that attaches ions to the salt molecule, that creates repulsion sending the salt away from the earth's magnetic core and produces the "hump" that is the tide.

Freshwater lakes and those that are not stuffed with hay would not know or have that reaction.

The design of the CREATOR, you asshole. It obviously is not "gravity". The tides are 12 hours apart meaning the tide on the opposing side of earth away from the moon would be pulled in. Not out.

The pull of the moon would actually increase gravity on the opposite side of the earth.

Plus there is centrifical force to deal with, no two halves of the earth are constructed the same, the iron core that there is no direct knowledge about, just guesses.

Its all a bunch of guesses.

The problem is that the guesses are stated as facts.
Nobody really knows.

Someone mentioned the sun pulling a tide on the opposite side of the earth as the moon but the tides remain relatively the same when there is a solar eclipse, so that THEORY fails.

Tides are caused by the big turtle as it shifts from side to side.

Yes, it's all mockery of Jesus' amazing power and wisdom, and given Satanic explanations by Satanic people. While I think it can be understood and explained, the moon ain't it. "Anything but God" is their motto. People have that motto with all sorts of problems, they're guided to look to the physical, never the spiritual for answers.

If the moon were also the cause it would ought to be the cause of many earthquakes as well.

Do the Great Lakes have tides?

Studies show that the Great Lakes do experience a tidal pattern twice a day, during which the water level changes. But this change is really tiny- only 4-5cm in height during the largest tide.

Size matters when it comes to gravity or tides. Small as they are, lakes do have tides.

The moon is really The Death Star......

It's the Dark Side Force that controls the tides.

There always more to learn, but it is an irrefutable fact and know for 1000s of years, the tides are directly linked to the lunar cycle.
