When you're truly in love, you should not mind a prenup. The sad reality is, there are many fake people who will pretend to love a person even when they do not, with the intent of stealing their assets from the beginning. Prenups help filter out those kinds of people.

You know if a person is OK with a prenup, that they are there for you and not just gold digging.

I say jokingly that the heart wants what the heart wants. I believe this is true.

That being said; there comes a time when the head must overrule the heart.

On the other hand, many men use and even abuse their first wives as they build up their businesses and wealth and then leave the 50 yr old haggard wife of 3 or 4 for a 20 something and the naive wife gets a fraction of what she has rightfully earned while she supported the man through school, failed early businesses, a one car nightmare and so on. Many older divorced women who were stay at home wives and ran the household./businesses have been thoroughly ripped off by their now successful ex-husbands after 16, 18, 20 + years.

My sister is dealing with this right now. The bastard hid all the loot and had her sign off on all the property. As the loyal wife, she just signed the sheaths of papers that he asked her to sign over the years. What a nightmare. Before she married this guy, she was very successful in her own career and life. Not every tom, dick, and harry is a Bezos and will give a hefty fraction of his wealth to his ex-wife, which still runs in the billions...Most ex-husbands give or try to give the wife pennies on the dollar of her real worth throughout the marriage and after.

It's a rare breed that truly honors the wife and dignifies her years of sacrifice, submission, and support for his vision of their future...which inevitably axes her out at the zenith of success and finally a bit of leisure..

Prenuptials are not mentioned in the Bible and they are SATANIC.

How can one genuinely say til death do us part when they are preparing for failure?
