Re: What is your truth
truth is not relative, it can be definitely arrived at through history, archaeology, etc.

Thank you to share, I actually watched a documentary some years back where they said they actually found the site, and believe that the blood from Christ drip down through the ground into the cave/room and landed on top of the ark well he was being crucified, Of course there is no verification to this at the moment that I know of , but it was all interesting the same.

Re: What is your truth
These songwriters speak the message of the bible in plain English. The truth is unknown. Anyone who says they know exposes them self as a liar in denial.
Now go in front of a judge and answer some questions to people holding you hostage. Is “so and so” your name? Better tell the truth!

Thank you to share, lol you reminded me of a day where I had to go to family court fighting with my ex, and children services , for my children and I was asked swear on the Bible. You should’ve seen the look, not just on the judges face but everyone else in that room at that time when I said “no” and then I turned and face the judge and I told him “do you know it says in that book that you should not swear upon anything?”. I will tell you that day my lawyer was not impressed with my words.

James 5:12, KJV: "But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation."

Yea she was evil. Her words along with Alice Bailey's are just gross to read. Their words just seem to carry evil intent.

To be honest, I kind of always had that feeling with Alice Bailey’s work ( I have read tiny pieces of her work) I have a few e-books from her that were suggested to me by others ,but still have never read any and I may actually be deleting them soon because I haven’t touch them and it’s been about two years now that they’ve been sitting on my Kindle. ( most of what I read wasn’t from the books that I have download it but they were chunks used in different places online).

Thank you to share thumbs

Don't get me wrong. There is a lot of truth in what she and blavatsky say but I believe the intent in their writings are malicious and misleading. Alice Bailey was a disciple of the Occult teachings of Madame Helena Blavatsky who is known as the "mother" of the New Age Movement. And There's plenty of evidence out there that blavatsky was a devout Satan worshipper.

There's a lot of info about Bailey and blavasky being evil and deceiving people. I read some of bailey's books and they just don't feel right. Her words don't sit well with me at all.

Re: What is your truth
OP, your story/truth reminds of the story:the Chinese farmer that I heard Alan Watts tell:

Once upon a time there was a Chinese farmer whose horse ran away. That evening, all of his neighbors came around to commiserate. They said, “We are so sorry to hear your horse has run away. This is most unfortunate.” The farmer said, “Maybe.” The next day the horse came back bringing seven wild horses with it, and in the evening everybody came back and said, “Oh, isn’t that lucky. What a great turn of events. You now have eight horses!” The farmer again said, “Maybe.”

The following day his son tried to break one of the horses, and while riding it, he was thrown and broke his leg. The neighbors then said, “Oh dear, that’s too bad,” and the farmer responded, “Maybe.” The next day the conscription officers came around to conscript people into the army, and they rejected his son because he had a broken leg. Again all the neighbors came around and said, “Isn’t that great!” Again, he said, “Maybe.”

The whole process of nature is an integrated process of immense complexity, and it’s really impossible to tell whether anything that happens in it is good or bad — because you never know what will be the consequence of the misfortune; or, you never know what will be the consequences of good fortune.

Thank you to share I really like this one, I will tell you as I started reading when I heard about him getting seven more horses back and everybody telling him he’s lucky I was thinking to myself yeah right you’re not the one who has to break them now lol….. again thank you to share. Five stars to this post to start my night.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Alan Watts' words have helped me survive some of the darkest times in my life.
I read this story often especially if I ever start feeling like "poor me" after something bad happens. And usually helps me get my head straight.

Thank you to share, I completely understand, I would say altogether in the last maybe five years I’ve read four paragraphs of writing from those two women altogether and I agree there are things that makes sense but in the end it seems like an instruction manual to prepare yourself for some sort of ritual. I could be wrong but that’s my perspective from what I’ve read but it is also my heart/gut feeling as well.

I did enjoy it very much so, I even shared it with 141, I read it out loud to him because it made me laugh and him as well, it reminded me of myself in many situations when things/situations/stuff goes wrong or right, lol I usually say most of the time “maybe, we shall see”, when others are extremely excited or extremely down/saddened by what is taking place or has taken place. I enjoy parables and small stories such as those, always find them to be great reflection tools.

Re: What is your truth
This morning someone asked me what is truth to me and what is my truth, I really didn’t know how to respond because nobody knows the real truth we’re just collecting it as we go in my honest opinion and everyone’s truths is different and some are the same. So I’m putting the same question out there to you all, and below is the small response that I shared this morning, which to me is just little crumbs of the subject, from my perspective of truth at the moment.

Have you ever listen to the song the gambler by Kenny Rogers? Yes this song is about playing poker, but when I was a little girl I used to fall asleep every night listening to this song on my walk man because my life as a child wasn’t easy, I spent most of my life observing and learning from other peoples mistakes. There are many things said in this song that can be applied to life, but one of the things I wanted to pointed out is when he says in his song every Hands a winner and every hands a loser, that is because in every situation no matter what there is the balance, for everyone that wins there’s always going to be a loser and for every loser there will always be a winner, what side of the scale you are on will be determine by your actions in the moment. And as far as right and wrong, winning may not be the right thing and losing may not be the wrong thing and that will be viewed by many, in so many ways because of their own personal truths and perspective, and the amount of compassion shown will determine how much we understand and how much truth we collect from the situation. Everybody has their own story so their truths are right to them just like mine are to me, but if we get stuck in thinking we are the only truth then we will never be able to truly stay on our path because we will block new experiences and new truths by blocking out others. It is quite interesting when I’ve talk to other people that I see are walking their souls path and they get swayed from one side to the other at times but when I speak with them and they share their experience sometimes I can see when I was in the same place and sometimes I’m not sure where they are, so I do not judge, I am always open to understand. Where our hearts intentions are when we do something, think something and choose to feel something matters in the end because that’s where your real truth is written. The heart can trick the mind but the mind cannot trick the heart, it can only invite it into fantasy, only the heart can make it real…. As I Believe the heart has a mind of its own.

Others may have a different perspective completely that’s fine I respect that.

The Truth is Love Conquers All

Truth is as the quality of H²O, as like a Princess, dear to her Prince, dazzling, stunning and pure, clean as white snow, like sparkling diamonds, as light as a feather, and strong as iron.

Love is like a weightless High 5, that excites the Iron to defy gravity, and levitate as energy coursing through your Veins.

Re: What is your truth
There's a lot of wishy washy, nebulous deepities being spouted here, that may sound pleasant but are ultimately meaningless if not false.

Words only mean what we intend them to. We must agree on our definitions in order to have a conversation, or else we're speaking about different things.

Truth in the most basic literal sense is that which corresponds to reality. Reality is objective and singular. It does not vary between people. When someone refers to 'their truth' what they generally mean is their belief, their personal experience, or in some cases the lies they want you to accept as true in the literal, objective sense.

Your beliefs are either true or not true, outside of subjective opinions. IE, I believe someone is beautiful.

In all other instances, to refer to your belief as 'your truth' is fundamentally dishonest.
