It's not just for receiving praise. Many people I know say they're taking the vaccine because they believe it's their ticket to freedom and getting their life back to normal and interacting with people again. They tell me they like the idea of a vaccine passport because it will give us all freedom.

These vaccines are not "gene therapy" and anyone that repeats the meme is stupid.

The vaccines in no way permanently change the cells genetic instructions, which gene therapy does. The vaccine uses instructions to tell the ribosomes in the cell to make spike proteins and present them on the surface of the cell to trigger an immune response. Once that is completed, the cell dies from either a t-cell killing it or from using up it's "energy" to create the spike proteins. Once it's gone, it's gone.

If it was gene therapy, it would permanently alter the genetics of the cell which would reproduce the new altered genetics code and be permanent.
