:ohlook:

This issue keeps coming up every couple months then gets pushed back every time.

They are training everyone for UBI and free rented lives. It would be off kilter for them to enforce evictions on 10m.
If it isn't in The Bible then it is just conspiracy theory.

They rent.

They are not the owners.

Just when you think the rent is going to come due they kick the can down the road. We're in the late stages of social decay and the politicians know it. They can't have the people rising up with pitch forks and torches. They need to placate the masses to retain control.

The "Justice" system is totally corrupt and broken, it has no more validity than any other branch of government in the USA. If all the landlords went to throw out all these
deadbeat renters out the law enfarcement (also totally corrupt and broken too) would never be able to do anything to prevent it.

Re: Federal judge strikes down CDC’s national moratorium on evictions... 10 million behind on rent
Easy to fix, US Treasury assumes all payables into end of 2022 at existing contracted rent price with inflation clause for landlords, tenants have no obligations. Cost? Likely up to $2 trillion.

Next, US Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac purchases all dwellings at 125% of appraisal w/no capital gains taxes for owners via bonds' issuance, and sells dwelling units back to existing tenants basis 100 year mortgages at interest only at year to year change in inflation rate, first payment of any principal as a balloon ten year payment from closing.

Such will lay the road toward progressives' guaranteed free housing for all that will include all utilities incl. broadband internet, e.g., 3D printed housing.

The mandatory control for above will be provisioned ONLY for and on behalf of existing U.S. citizens and who are currently named as the documented rental leaseholder or mortgage holder, not their El Salvador or Somali relatives.

Editing above, add:

1. Rehab funds also provisioned as many dwellings may be in marginal condition, outdated, and with a likely life left of less than 100 years.

2. Option to sell back mortgage with ownership title to Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac at agreed upon schedule price, or grouped tenants petition to demolish and rebuild at same location as per zoning permission, or exchange for another dwelling as per availability and agreeing parties.

No one should be evicted especially during a pandemic just because the greedy landlord wants to sell the property now due to inflated prices.

any "rent relief" should be paid directly to the accounts of the landlords.

not saying this should be done.

I AM saying, that if rents cannot be paid, the injured parties are the landlords.

of course, ending private ownership of property has been a goal for a long time.

the events as they stand will bankrupt many landlords and stop others from buying or maintaining properties to rent.
