Why are they behind, I thought they were making more money thru unemployment than they were working.wasnt the fed government giving them an extra 300 a week or was it 600 ontop of state unemployment .

Housing prices are up for a few reasons but the biggest is low inventory. Lots of bidding wars have been going on.. I see prices coming down a little bit, but this new inventory hitting the market will get gobbled up pretty quickly and turned into rentals... Maybe a “crash” is coming but I see it more as a return to the mean. No doom which I’m sure upsets some of you, but life will go on. It always does.. ebb to flow and flow to ebb.. like a pendulum..

Hopefully you got a refinance in before rates go back up. I did and that 2.875% interest puts me in the winners circle, but I’m not there alone. A lot of people, nay, a majority of people are in good shape. Unfortunately there will be losers, there always are, but that’s just how it goes. Still the greatest country in the world.

My brother is a left wing nut job, voted for this shit.
He has 10 rentals and a 15 room hotel, that he rents to crack heads. I hope none of them are paying their rent.

No one should be evicted especially during a pandemic just because the greedy landlord wants to sell the property now due to inflated prices.

Few people work harder than landlords, and they get no respect for the degree of risk that they assume.

I sold my rental property years ago and I'm so glad I did. If others want to take that risk, then I commend them. There's very little reason to operate a rental business(it's not an investment) unless the government supports the rule of law.

Last i heard this UBI [Universal Basic Income] is very real and it came from a divine plan. What i dont know is, Is this Before or After the Event. aka earth ascension shift. 5D earth. This year.

I sold my rental property decades ago. The WORK put into maintenance, mortgage/insurance payments, rental collection and eviction notices wasn't worth the high blood pressure and migraine headaches.

Took what little I profited, bought a small house and paid it off. Have lived happily ever after since.

People will freeload and turn anything they live in into crap because when they don't OWN it, they don't care. Human nature.

Did I also mention I turned into a misanthrope in no time at all? Being a landlord showed me the true face of humans, rich or poor. Meh.....

I will additional say that in our so-called 'education' system, along with parental instruction, children from the get-go should be taught what it takes to live in the 'real world'. This includes living expenses such as housing.

But no....what do we teach them? Entitlement.

Easy to fix, US Treasury assumes all payables into end of 2022 at existing contracted rent price with inflation clause for landlords, tenants have no obligations. Cost? Likely up to $2 trillion.

Next, US Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac purchases all dwellings at 125% of appraisal w/no capital gains taxes for owners via bonds' issuance, and sells dwelling units back to existing tenants basis 100 year mortgages at interest only at year to year change in inflation rate, first payment of any principal as a balloon ten year payment from closing.

Such will lay the road toward progressives' guaranteed free housing for all that will include all utilities incl. broadband internet, e.g., 3D printed housing.

The mandatory control for above will be provisioned ONLY for and on behalf of existing U.S. citizens and who are currently named as the documented rental leaseholder or mortgage holder, not their El Salvador or Somali relatives.
