Ben is not what he seems. The man is not a great intellectual debater.

What really is going on with his talks? Shapiro is trying to demonstrate his intellectual and presumably ideological superiority. What no one is doing in these confrontations is trying to convince or influence anyone to a different point of view.

If debate is to test different ideas against each other and see which holds up under scrutiny, then he’s not a debater at all.

He is prepared and well seasoned on certain subjects. His opponents are not prepared at all and not intellectuals themselves. This gives him an advantage. He neither changes the minds of people nor does he actually teach something. He is playing a game and the lowest of IQ's larp it up, which provides him with a nice living.

He does not get trapped into defending generalities. This again comes down to knowing what one knows. One stays on safe paths and does not allow emotions to pull him onto indefensible ground.

He has mastered the tools of rhetoric. Shapiro both uses and recognizes the various rhetorical fallacies and especially the favorite of the media; the complex or trick question and the co-premise.

I’ve been saying for over 5 years how much a charlatan Ben is, I’m glad a lot of people are starting to see him for who he really is.

I cannot think of one talk show host that I agree with 100% of the time. I do listen to Ben because he often looks at things from a legal stand point and that is helpful in understanding certain aspects. Socially Ben has some stances that I do not agree with. Mark Dice is a shock and awe reporter and is always looking to expose and get reactions. I have watched his videos but I do not believe every thing he says as the gospel.
