Not miserable, hysteria. The media are supporting hysterics for something that, while it may be a problem and in some cases (but certainly not all they've kicked up a fuss over) it may need to be addressed, is not a problem that needs to send a country to near civil war over.

"Woke" is just another version of the cultural revolution-- where mobs of young people harass and humiliate targets that their communist masters tell them to harass.

"Woke" culture is happening in the US by design- in order to take down the US.

In China, roving gangs of young people would ridicule upper middle class professors, doctors and other professionals, making them walk on glass, pinning rude signs on their backs, and driving many of them to suicide-- all for their deranged self aggrandizing hero, Mao.

These Woke young Chinese communists eventually got their comeuppance though, when their hero, Mao sent them all off to slave labor camps in the countryside. Ouch-- hard when you realize that your hero is a monster, and that your grandparents cared more about you than any political leader.

Sweet revenge on those hapless Woke young communist Chinese bully-slaves, who dishonored their grandparents and destroyed a whole professional class with their crude and evil "wokeness.".
