Faith

Thoughts on wings caught in a storm
Embrace my faith as a living form.
Things I know that cannot be known
Emerge from the mist as I am shown.

Logic confused is at a loss for reply.
Emotion betrayed refuses to comply.
Spirit blinded seeks by different means.
Soul survives hidden in distant scenes.

When the fury damages to its fill
And the wind dwindles to the still,
My faith in return, embraces me
Returning my insight and my glee.

Moved many mountains in my mind
Tears and smiles helped to bind.
Now if only peace I could refine
To loft my thoughts on wings divine.
