I have a few rules that I follow to keep my weight in check.

I very rarely eat out. Meaning maybe once every 4-6 months. This includes sit down restaurants.

I do not consume any carbonated drinks at all. The carbonation tends to stretch out the stomach, causing you to eat more food to feel full.

I try to avoid any processed foods, but occasionally I will use them if I’m in a hurry.

If I have an unhealthy food on my plate (French fries for example), I will eat all of the other food & save that one for last. This way I’m typically full by the time I get around to it & eat less of it.

Yup! I see this too! Too much bad food out there and

people are 'eating it up'.

Every night when I get off at 7pm, I drive by the

strip mall where the grocery store is along with

7 fast food restaurants.

There is almost ALWAYS LONG LINES OF CARS!

Just waiting for their fast food fix.

You can't eat like that everyday!!!

They use so much preservatives in that food, it

could not be good for your body...

It's funny. When confronted with a obese or morbidly overweight person, I feel uncomfortable. I wish to take no advise from them about anything.

If they can not control their own bodies, well then nothing is in their control imo.

I still can not imagine a person like Chris Christie getting elected to office.

But now I know there are so many fatties that they stick together like tubs of lard.

According to statistics I live in the most obese & highest rate of diabetes in the entire country. I've been here long enough & seen enough to never have doubted that statistic to be true.

Also people aren't eating nutrient dense food.

If you are taking in empty calories your body still craves food. You need to eat nutrient dense foods.

Different proteins can make you feel full or hungry. Which ones do you think they add to food? If you are going to eat any of that crap do it at the end of a meal made with real food so you already feel full. Other than that avoid sugars, grains, soda, alcohol, anything you can't pronounce and foods with more than 3-5 ingredients.

Self control. Sometimes health is uncomfortable.

1st law of thermodynamics. Obesity is always avoidable. It is the culmination of a series of choices, and is therefore itself a choice.

People should be judged based on their bad choices, especially when they have obvious deadly effects and the right choices are clear.

That video is disgusting. There are overweight people that eat with at least a modicum of manners, but none of those porkers do. Gross.

One thing I've always enjoyed is watching pretty girls eat.
They take a bite, you can see where it makes their cheek bulge a bit, chewing for a while. They talk and brandish their fork then daintily take another small bite.
Pure pleasure to watch.

Individuals are to blame for what they shovel into their own mouths. Overeat, and you become overweight. It really is that simple.

If people can't be judged for making personal choices that kill themselves and force us to foot the bill, then what can anyone be judged for?
