Even if the mistrial is declared ...
Attorney General Merrick Garland’s emboldened U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, filed indictments against ex-Minneapolis Police Officer and convicted Derek Chauvin and the three other officers

I find it funny here (this forum, not this thread) that conspiracy theorists who're anti-authority are championing the verdict as a victory for their beliefs when it turns out that they're on the side of government, deception (knee on the back, Floyd saying he "can't breathe" 27 times while under Chauvin's knee: both lies) and injustice (we don't know if he killed Floyd, you very well may be sending a man to jail for another persons heart attack or slim possibility drug overdose, largely as a consequence of the victims own lifestyle and choices). Authoritarianism isn't a bad police officer, authoritarianism is locking someone behind bars, possibly for the rest of their lives in solitary confinement because it feels good, whether or not there are significant doubts about the cause of death, and using lies such as 27 times saying "can't breathe" while under Chauvin's knee (it was 20 times, 7 times were before Chauvin was 'positionally asphyxiating' him, 8 if you count "I can't choke" which you should: either his breathing issues began before he was 'positionally asphyxiated' by the officer [eg. because of the drugs he took] or he was making it up in the context of alleged claustrophobia, which is known for making people plead they can't breathe).

Being a colored is not a right, so how could they have violated his civil rights?

There is no federal statue on murder by a LEO on a suspect comitting a federal crime. 1st murder is a state matter...but 2nd, and ask yourself this, was not passing contefiet currency a federal crime involving the Treasury Department, yet the DOJ chose not to get involved and declined to give statements in the investigation or get involved in the trial. Now all the sudden the DOJ wants to get involved?

The US death penalty was enacted for persons such as Chauvin. He deserves to be executed. Nothing less can be construed as justice.

He is being charged with "deprivation of rights under color of law", which can incur the death penalty if the persons whose rights were denied died from the defendents actions. They have to prove that Chauvin treated Floyd like he did because he was black. All they need for that proof: a black victim and a jury of angry black people and liberals. Some say that that charge is not a double jeopardy because it is not murder or manslaughter...

The subhuman cunts on the left will twist the law and infiltrate juries to get whatever outcome they want, that much is clear.
