There is a prophecy in the bible (about a fig free which represents Israel) that says Christ will return by the end of the last generation that sees Israel regathered. Psalm 90:10 says a generation is 70 years (that has passed already) or 80 years if by strength. 80 years from May 14, 1948 is May 14, 2028, however, Daniel's prophecy of seventy weeks (of years) states the last seven years are reserved for Israel (called the time of Jacob's trouble) that will cause Israel to go through hell, but in the end she survives after acknowledging who her savior is and always was, Yeshua (Jesus Christ). There is always the possibility that the interpretation of many on this is wrong, but world events seem to corroborate we're close.
