"New Age" is a movement started near the beginning of the 1900th century, involving authors writing books about subjects they barely understand, using the more fancy elements of actual spirituality to put together a wow! book to sell to gullible people. Thus, "New Age" gets a bad rap.

Most Christians don't even understand what Jesus was teaching, and ignore what he says in the bible, anyway, so I wouldn't worry about what they might think, and you just do you, and whatever works for you.

No sir, you can READ is what it is. The majority of Christians I know have never read the Bible for themselves and believe that only an “ordained” minister can interpret the words of God. The King James Bible is very useful to keep the sheep sheepish.

When you read the Bible front to back, you realize just how unChristian most Christians are simply because theyve never learned the words and teachings for themselves. Very good. The whole act of funerals and visiting graves and things has always baffled me. I have the living memories of those I love and do not need a headstone to remind me of them.

Those who cry and mourn and are so sad are afraid of mortality and are crying because they themselves are unsure of a Heaven. When you know Jesus and his words, someones passing, while sad, is a gift of eternal life? Right?
