Would you choose having knowledge over sharing love, life and light with others?

It’s a bogus idea that we must choose one over the other rather than both.
Cults and religions tend to discourage the seeking of knowledge. That is why the Adam and Eve story is in the Bible, to discourage the seeking of truth outside the narrow boundaries of a religion.

interesting concept........ I'm close to being on board. However, I treasure wisdom over knowledge, that being "book" knowledge... knowledge in the sense of this realm we currently exist in.

The Tree of Life! Without life there is no knowledge. And I must admit, isn’t ignorance Bliss? Think about it for 3 seconds. Do you have any to live here, hustling for every dollar, being kicked down and keep the rat race going, or, be completely safe and content, knowing everything you need or want is provided for?

So for the physical life it’s not a problem to seek knowledge since that was what was chosen, but then you die, unfortunately

Eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, Truth and Lies, INTRODUCED US TO DEATH/IGNORANCE.

For we knew not death/ignorance/the Father of LIES and HOW to lie, before we ate of this fruit.

Now that we know how to sin/lie, we must reach forth and partake of the Fruit of the Tree of Life/TRUTH or we will continue in our ignorance and die eternally in the lie. For Satan has DECEIVED the entire world and bounds them in ignorance of the Truth.

But if we partake of the Fruit of the Tree of Life which is Truth and Christ who symbolizes that truth in the flesh, then we trample the lie of death and step on the head of Satan the deceiver, knowing that we are indeed One with G-d and the Truth and thus are ETERNAL BEINGS IN THAT GNOSIS.

The moral of the lesson is you're going to eat from both. In other words, life is non-stop decisions in choosing between the two.

If you eat from the tree of life and/or choose evil. You may be forgiven and saved in the future by the messiah/redeemer (the way and the life).
