Schoolboard meetings often get testy and sometimes people need to be expelled, but I agree the cop should be way off to the side standing against a wall, not standing intimidatingly directly behind the speaker.

The kid didn't seem intimidated by that or anything else. He fist-bumped the cop at the end. That kid's a real performer, he could go far.

Starting last week the school here is making kids get up every 14 minutes to go outside, switch desks and clean the desk....every 14 minutes

This is true. The schools need to shut until all kids can attend without a mask. Or make it optional. I can’t imagine running with a mask. Or keeping one on all day. Maybe this kid only has his mom and she has to send him there. Maybe he wants to be with his friends. Anyway if this doesn’t change parents need to keep the kids home.

my kid says the same but this kid eloquently is a leader within his community. You don't need badges, or titles you need to be "That Guy" in this life to actually make a change. You'd be surprised how much a few people who really never try actually impact the lives of so many. This kid is one of those people. Kids a hero in my book.

And on that note be a bit kinder that kid is like 99% of all the rest of the public school kids. Except he's a bit braver than 99% of all the rest of those public school kids. He has good parents clearly.
